About Me
Biography
I am an environmental advocate, facilitator, and community organizer passionate about driving change at the intersection of climate, health, and community engagement. With a Master’s in Sustainability Science and Society and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to solving complex global challenges.
My work spans across diverse roles, including my current position as Program & Communication Officer for a scholarship foundation, I focus on fostering alumni engagement, implementing strategic communication plans, and bridging scholars with impactful opportunities. Previously, I served as Community Engagement Manager with The Climate Reality Project Canada, where I managed national teams to create coalitions on climate action, co-designed interdisciplinary panels for COP28, and represented Canada at an international climate finance workshop in Singapore.
My academic research delved into environmental racism in Ontario, using GIS mapping to highlight disparities in access to environmental benefits and exposure to hazards among visible minority communities. This work complements my expertise in climate education, advocacy, and creative community initiatives like facilitating workshops, curating a Climate Book Club, and leading youth engagement projects.
When I’m not collaborating on sustainability projects, I’m exploring Montréal’s vibrant parks, crafting through sewing, or working on grassroots climate initiatives to inspire collective action for a healthier planet.
